Final Reflections from Julie & Gord
Really, words cannot do justice to this incredible journey we experienced for our nearly five weeks in Europe. We began with a celebration of 25 years of marriage and a dream of experiencing the Old World Charm of Europe and here we are now with all these incredible memories! Yes, memories that will last a lifetime! Every moment of our trip was special, from our tour member family whom we bonded with, to the most personable and informative guides, to our best dressed bus driver with personality plus! We saw with our eyes incredible sights where we had to pinch ourselves to make sure we were not dreaming. We learned about art and historical facts about the rich European culture that made us ponder within and the response in our hearts was a greater understanding and a love for Europe and its people. Sitting here at home we realize, our eyes have now been opened and there is a yearning that has awakened within us to see more! Do more! Experience more! Celebrate more! Yes, we will be back!
We leave you with our final Old World Charm moment as on a warm Paris evening we relax on the Champ de Mars enjoying a wonderful French wine, and gazing on Paris' most adored and captivating icon.
Au revoir!
Late Breaking News!
Oh yes - we nearly forgot, there is one detail we haven't told you about yet. Remember Judy and Dale - perhaps finding love in the Cinque Terre? Well - we've got great news, on January 19, 2015 our tour group received a very special email from Judy and this is what she said:
"OK...seems Dale is really into Beyonce's song of, "If you like it you'd better put a ring on it," and so he did at Christmas! We just wanted to let y'all know cuz you are very special to us. Big hugs! Judy and Dale."
Well
as it turns out, seems like some of that Old World Charm (and that Italian
wine) worked its special magic on Dale and Judy. Congratulations you two!
We wish you both years of happiness together! What a perfect end to a perfect
trip!
